Belkis Plata and Shannon Schott to be honored at The Florida Bar conference

The Board of Legal Specialization & Education will honor Plata Schott Law as the 2023 Award for Excellence in the Promotion of Board Certification. The BLSE will award Plata Schott during The Florida Bar Annual Convention at the Board Certified Lawyers' Reception at The Boca Raton in Boca Raton, on Thursday, June 22, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

From the BLSE Chair: “The BLSE created the Excellence Award to further advance the vision of the Supreme Court of Florida that the Certification program serves as a means to assist consumers in identifying qualified legal specialists and to encourage lawyers to aspire to excellence and professionalism. You lead a distinguished group of board certified Florida Bar members who have been recognized by their colleagues for “excellence and creativity in advancing the public’s knowledge of and appreciation for legal board certification” and have allowed those individuals to volunteer countless hours in service to the program.”
